Rooftop of India
Spent a week riding through the world's highest motorable passes — Khardung La at 5,359 m and Chang La at 5,360 m. The silence up there is something no photo can capture. Pangong Lake at sunrise was worth every altitude headache.
Hampi is unlike anywhere else in India — a UNESCO World Heritage Site strewn with boulders the size of buildings and 16th-century Vijayanagara ruins around every corner. Crossed the coracle ferry each morning to the hippie island for breakfast.

Year-end on the Coast
Rented a scooter and spent a week hopping between North and South Goa. Avoided the tourist beaches and found quiet stretches at Agonda and Butterfly Beach accessible only by boat. New Year's Eve on a rooftop overlooking the Arabian Sea.
